Sri Lanka, also called Ceylon and in history, Taprobana is the
heaven of the earth. There are no words to describes it's phenomena. It's an
island of the Indian ocean & people say it as the "pearl of the Indian
ocean". The length is 432km and width is 224km of this island. Its land
area is 65,610 km², with 64,740 km² of land and 870 km² of
water. Its coastline is 1,340 km long.
Sri Lanka is a
South Asian country. Its climate includes tropical monsoons: the northeast
monsoon (December to March), and the southwest monsoon (June to October). Sri
Lanka is a hot spot between 25 countries of the world. This country has worm
climate and May, June and July are the hottest months of the year. Its terrain
is mostly low, flat to rolling plain, with mountains in the south-central
interior. The highest point is Pidurutalagala at 2,524.13 m.
This island has a
full of natural beauty. The fascinating coastline is surrounded of Sri Lanka.
When you go to inner side of it, you can see attractive forests, paddy fields,
